Success Stories

Lusail is the newest planned city in Qatar, located on the coast, in the northern part of the municipality of Al Daayen. Lusail is located about 15km north of the city centre of Doha, just north of the West Bay Lagoon, on over 35km² and will eventually provide accommodation for up to 260,000 people. It has marinas, residential areas, island resorts, commercial districts, luxury shopping and leisure facilities, including two golf courses, an all giraffe zoo and an entertainment district. Construction is still ongoing.

Background

Supply of management services, manpower, tools and equipment required to complete the installation works of:

• Panel installation, 47 floor standing panels to be installed in sub-stations and fan chambers. 170 RIO wall mounted panels to be installed in wet and dry tunnels.
• Secondary cable trays and conduit installation, sub tray installation from main tray to remote I/O panels, MCC panels and sum pit panels. Conduits will be installed for all devices from main tray to instruments and MCC panels and FOC patch panels.
• Cabling and Termination, Instrument, Control Net, Modbus, and Fibre Optic cable Laying.
• SCADA Control Room Equipment Installation, of Consoles for operator stations, 55” wall mounted type LCD installation, Server enclosure inside SCADA control room, communication cables laying inside control room for server and installation connectivity, UPS installation.

Services

Irinatech provided a comprehensive MEP project management, and engineering services package to all aspects of the MEP execution works.

Our core responsibility was to provide support to the main contractor in terms of planning, engineering, management and site supervision, assisted and supported the main contractor and managed all 15 subcontractors with all inter-related MEP works including design, installation, testing and commissioning, training and handover, to complete a prestigious infrastructure project valued at approximately QR5 Billion.

Irinatech is also providing full guidance to contractual documentation in all aspects of the project life cycle. Other KPIs were submitted to the client on a weekly/monthly basis for all types of risk and uncertainties including contractual, financial, safety, liaison with all authorities, QA/QC, health and safety, project closure procedure and documentation.
