Leading MEP engineering company, Irinatech WLL, has marked a major safety milestone after recording one million man-hours worked without a single reportable incident or Lost Time Incident (LTI).

ABB Switzerland congratulated Irinatech WLL, for achieving the daunting milestone of 1 Million Man Hours without LTI between the period of Sep 2010 and July 2014 at the Bahrain II Projects. In a warm letter of appreciation, Senior HSE Advisor of ABB Switzerland, Mr. Chelladurai Manikandan, thanked all team members of Irinatech WLL working on the Bahrain II Projects for their support for managing Health & Safety on Project Sites. The milestone achievement was celebrated with a ceremony held by ABB at the Shamal Al Buhair site on 20th of October 2014 to thank all involved parties and employees. Representatives of ABB and Irinatech with contractors and teams who played key roles providing continuous support were present.

The achievement is a testimony to Irinatech’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental Management. The company has consistently promoted a culture of health and security for employees, contractors and stakeholders, rigorously following health and safety practices to ensure safety compliance, and an incident and injury free work environment.
